Thinking to get a remap but cant seem to see anyway local to Manchester who offers this. I was initially thinking going the tuning box route until i have read a few rubbish reviews.

Jason@bwchiptune on here used to offer a mobile facility.  Not sure if he still does, but worth a PM.  He might also know someone in your area who can help  :)

These guys did mine a few weeks ago, excellent. Yours can be done through the diagnostic port so an easy one.

Speak to Mark and mention Richard from Derby off the BMW 5 Series Forum.

Not north west and more north east but Durham Remaps have been getting some cracking results on the 40d engines, upto 420bhp and 620lbft following remap...

Mines a 2010 so can’t be done through the diagnostic port which means they had to drill through the ECU case (using a special jig & drill) to get into the rear of the ECU board which means a few more quid at £372.

You’ll pay around £320 I think as it’s easier.

I’m now on 360bhp from 306bhp but you should see more as yours is 313bhp standard I think.

Well had it remaped today by Harper Motorsport, They managed to do it Via ODB port so cost only £228

Very happy with the result loads more grunt:) , they even turned of the start stop thing for me.
