Simple DAB or Bluetooth Streaming options

Greetings people. I’m getting old and can’t be bothered to update my iPod and the constant crap radio quality bothers me.

Wondering if there any simple options to get DAB radio or Bluetooth streaming, was thinking of one of those options that go into the 12v socket but no idea if they are any good.

Anyone done anything? Oh and not really interested in changing the head unit unless all the early issues are gone and the price has gone down.

I searched for bmw e53 aux bluetooth  on ebay and that brought  up something that may be of use around £14

Only ordered this morning let you know once it's here and installed.

Installed and using via FM is too flaky, when in a good spot it works perfectly but driving around its just not good enough. The Bluetooth connected to phone and playing music but the FM transmission made it crap.

I'm planning on buying the AUX in adapter cable and try that out, is the copies around the same thing or does the quality get worse with copies?
