Hi folks would a failed track rod end cause the fail safe error message.there is a fair bit of play in it.

Just wondering if the wheel sensor would detect movement.its funny my bmw software detected play in the front drivers wheel.

No it wouldnt, the wheel speed sensor measures just that, rotation speed of wheel...not if it wobbles etc.
