Replace Door Carrier but door shut during the job

Hi,

I replaced the door carrier inside the door as it was broken. But just as i installed the carrier the door shut on me. So now i have no handle on the outside. I can click the mechanism at the bottom where the carrier is linked by the ball socket. I just need to release the actuator or pin(?) that is engaged to let me open the door and finish the job. Any ideas how i can release? Do i need to hot wire the actuator or do i need to look for a plastic thin piece and find the pin that is engaged?

The door should still open if you pull the Bowden cable that you disconnected from the interior handle when you removed the door card
