Bluetooth Handfree kit very quiet
Hey Guys,
I have connected up my iphone to my car and it works perfectly recieving and sending calls, but it is like trying hear a mouse speak.
I have looked in the telephone manual with the car but it doesnt say how you can turn up the volume.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Re: Bluetooth Handfree kit very quiet
I have this problem using a Samsung C3050 handset, practically useless unless the car is stationary. I've tried turning the volume up whilst a call is in progress and there don't seem to be any variables on the computer or DSP settings to adjust (or the handset settings for that matter). Sound also only comes from the driver door speaker. This is a 2010 model of handset and there were no problems with pairing to the car BT. However an older Sony Ericson W610i handset works perfectly, you can hear clearly while on the move and all the speakers work. Posted a query about this some time ago but no-one seems to have an answer. I have a theory it may have something to do with Bluetooth implementations/ versions bertween my 2004 E53 and newer handsets.

My iPhone works well with my X5. You can change the bluetooth volume with the buttons on the side of the iPhone, but you need to be on a call first.

Same here, just use the volume knob.

Figured it out. the volume knob on the satnav does nothing but the volume control on the steering wheel changes the telephone volume.
Thanks for everyone's help.

Yes, there is no difference between the steering controls and the dash button for volume that I found at least ...

Mine only turns up on the steering wheel control. Stereo knob doesnt work well at the best of times. Strangely enough also though my iphone4 pairs no problem. Partners doesn't.
