E53 X5 3.0D - 54,500 miles and BMW warranty - pictures added

Having just bought an F25 X3 our X5 will be advertised soon (I'm not going to be around all the time over the next couple of weeks so will delay advertising it properly until then).

It's silver, automatic, 54,000 miles, one previous owner (owned it over 7years), 54 plate so lower tax and it's under the comprehensive BMW insured warranty until January (which can be renewed up to 100,000 miles).

I'll post full details and photos in due course but it's very clean and well maintained with no kerbing to the alloys.  If you're interested get in touch.

Ok so here are the details.  I've been away for a week or so and shall add some pictures soon (probably the weekend) but if you are interested and want some before then, please let me know and I'll do my best.

2004 (54) BMW X5 30D Sport Auto

1 Previous owner (owned by me for about 7½ years)

Only 54,500 miles

Full BMW service history (four green lights remaining on indicator)

Comprehensive BMW warranty until January 2019 – transferrable to new owner and paid for in full

MOT – no advisories

Metallic silver with grey leather interior

Facelift model with lower pre-2006 tax rate

Panoramic roof
Electric memory seats, mirrors and steering wheel
Rear sun blinds

Completely standard apart from a Wesfalia detachable tow bar and electrics (only used for a bike carrier).

This has been under a comprehensive BMW warranty throughout my ownership so has had work done as required.  It has been very well looked after.  We have no children or pets.  Work done includes:

Recent front brake discs, pads, callipers, master cylinder, servo, abs unit and flexible brake lines (apart from the discs, pads and callipers, these parts were changed due to air getting trapped during a fluid change which turned out to be the abs unit).

All glow plugs replaced and control unit (one glow plug was a warranty claim but I paid for the other five to be replaced at the same time.  The control unit was subsequently replaced).

Central display (above console) replaced under warranty due to dead pixels (a common problem with age).

Battery replaced with decent amount of warranty remaining.

Windscreen replaced due to chip with genuine BMW windscreen (I insisted on this) so nice and clear.

No kerb damage to alloy wheels.

Correct BMW approved Michelin tyres all around.

The comprehensive BMW warranty may be continued up to 100,000 miles and the terms are now such that apart from certain obvious exclusions such as brake pads, failure due to wear and tear is in most cases covered.  It is therefore a very comprehensive warranty.

My asking price is £7,495 and I'm based in Sale (South Manchester). Senisble offers invited.

I'm not interested in part exchanges.

Note that it does have genuine black velour mats and a rubber boot liner (and boot guard present) but I removed them to show the condition of the carpets.

Sold.  I'll be advertising my 18" set of winter wheels shortly.  They're the version that were meant for the V8s due to the bigger brakes with 255s all round.
