X3 screech when revved. Advice needed.

Hi all, just joined the forum for some advice. Had my X3 for a few months and love it. 2006, 100k miles but runs well. This morning while driving it started to make a screech / high pitched whining when revved. See attached video. Any ideas what this might be ? Many thanks, Steve

There are a few things it might be, including a drive belt tensioner bearing worn, an worn alternator bearing or pulley clutch (if it has one) on the alternator. I would get it looked at as soon as you can.

Water pump and air conditioning compressor clutch to add to the list of possibles. Might be the viscous damped fan clutch too.
