These 40d seem to be expensive on insurance can anyone recommend a good place. Quoted £547 so far that’s full ncb etc.
Thanks in advance

Presume you've tried the usual comparison sites? Go Compare and Compare the Market?
In addition try Direct Line and Aviva who don't appear on the comparison sites.
I have had cheap quotes from Admiral / Elephant / Diamond in the past (they are owned by the same company).
Best of luck.

Re: Best insurance company
I am with saga as well slightly different car x5 3.0d 2002.
£150.52 in January with my wife on it as well.
Strange thing is my sister a tad older than me and living 12 miles away can't get a good quote of saga she is with Hastings.

Re: Best insurance company
Thanks for replying il ring some as I’ve done the comparison sites.
Re: Best insurance company
Insurance still seems to be something of a lottery some times.
I haven't used a comparison site this time but went direct to a few.
X5 35d full no claims, no convictions etc
Admiral £800+
AA £378
Saga £375
Allianz (through Grove & Dean brokers) £444
Saga have offered me full all singing all dancing breakdown cover including europe, legal cover etc £502
Might give them a try as I've lost the will to live now keep answering the same questions.
Good luck with getting sorted.
