60 plate 40d 6 or 8 speed

This x5/x6 car search is sooooo complicated so I’m asking if a 60 plate x6 would have a 6 or 8 speed gbox.

35d = 6sp, 40d = 8 sp, early 30d in 2010 stayed 6sp for a while then changed too.  It will depend on the production month.


Check Realoem to confirm when it changed.
