I've just been to look at a Range Rover sport at a dealer to possibly purchace.
Nice car but the suspension was flat at the rear when I got there. It pumped up when it was running though.
When I questioned him about it he said that all air suspension vehicles lose air when sat for a week or so. Our two X5s have been left for 2-3 weeks and never dropped a mm.
Is he right? I've never known that before.
Not only that, he was an idiot too. An hour befor I called and asked if I could test drive it when I got there. Yes was the reply. When there he asked if I had booked 24hrs in advance otherwise they can't let people test drive cars..
What kind of a dealer does that? He mumbled something about insurance blah blah but by then I had lost interest. Bafoon.

Re: Air suspension
I didn’t think and cars with air/self levelling sank down since the days of the old Citroen’s! Sounds like he’s best avoided

Re: Air suspension
Walk away! The air should not leak out. My E53 never sank even when left for a month.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
