My wife's X5 came back from the bodyshop today having had a new rear bumper fitted (someone tried to park a Transit van in the boot, but that's another story). The new bumper fits fine at the wheelarches but there is a 1/4 inch gap at rear.
The bodyshop say they're going to order new mounts and a carrier but I'm wondering if it just needs adjusted?
I've just looked at the article in "How To" about fitting a towbar and it seems to suggest this is the case but I'd like to be sure before speaking to the bodyshop.
Can anyone confirm this. please?
