The TV is very impressive, the damp front and rear carpet in my case was the sunroof drain pipe had come off at the sunroof. Take the A pillar cover off and if there is any sign of dampness or water then the pipe has come off. Take the grab handle off and the door seal  then you can manoeuvre the roof lining enough to push it back on again.
If left rear is condensating it might be the floor at the bottom of the area underneath where the cd/satnav is. The bottom bit where the exhaust heat shield is secured is a water trap and has had 16 years to rust enough to create pin holes.

Thanks Henry, sun is out tomorrow according to the weather so I’ll be on it tomorrow- I’ve started another thread to avoid hijacking this one so I’ll keep it updated in the problems section

I modded my phone cradle to take an i phone 6
[/quote]

So as you know I’ve got the car stripped back so I’ve decided to run the Dynavin cable and fit my iPod/iPhone cables whilst I’ve got the car in bits.
I was thinking of removing the current phone cradle and running the charger lead up there for my phone or iPod. I think I can see how to remove the old cradle and insert, what I’m worried about and this may be a stupid question but, if I remove all the electrical gubbins from the armrest, will I be causing any problems with the steering wheel controls when I fit the Dynavin, or confusing the canbus/I-bus in some way?
I just thought if i could remove the original cables from the hinge where they’re routed it would be neater, photo of yours if you’ve got a minute would be nice!

I have tv on mine (not danvin) with 2 aerials.
1 in the front windscreen top passenger side and the 2nd in the last glass rear passenger side.
I hate shopping so stay in the car and watch tv ocasionaly i just have to remember to park the right way round.
Signal wise all or nothing but the picture is very good i think.

1. The res of the Apple Car Play icons is fuzzy. They are looking into it for me, but it looks a bit rubbish compared to a pin sharp Iphone screen!

Couple of questions:
1. Do you ever get this resolved?
2. Do your iPod controls work well? I’ve had nothing but trouble with my N7, the iPod controls don’t work properly - the buttons take 6-12 seconds to register that you’ve pressed them and then it crashes most of the time. The unit has been back for a repair but is still the same, John at Dynavin in Worcester has been very helpful but I’m just trying to get an exchange unit fitted now by driving up there.

I would expect the iPod controls to be as quick as all the other buttons but mine have always been use;ess so I’d be interested to know if yours or anyone else’s are anything less than reliable and instant.

3. Is anyone using a 30pin iPod classic in their Dynavin? I’ve tried my phone as well and it’s just the same but useful to know if other are using an iPod classic before for comparison

Don’t really know if it’s relevent but mine is the N6 and it has been really good. I use the i phone for music, mainly of amazon prime, all the phone controls work instantly whether on Bluetooth or plugged in, it’s just easier to use the steering wheel controls. You get album art if plugged in, on Bluetooth you get artist and song title only. Some years ago (2) my wife had an iPhone 4 I think with the big connector, not sure if it’s the same as classic iPod but it worked well plugged into the USB socket.
Only irritating thing with mine is as soon as battery voltage drops below 11.5v the radio drops all the preset stations. Not on DAB though. I suppose it’s like an early warning system.

Thanks Henry, mine is the same with iPod classic or iPhone 6s Plus, if I try and select the keyboard option and press a letter it takes an age to appear then crashes, try to select artist/album/song to search and it flicks between options of its own accord - there is a ghost in the machine
