Re: Battery kill switch
I don't think so, you are not likely to get a " voltage drop", mine are about 3 feet long .

You will always get a voltage drop over a length of cable, best to run the 230 v to the charger as near as possible to the charger, as a 5 volt drop is the max allowed, a 5 volt drop at 14 volts is not an option.
Is the car parked on your property/ drive ?
If so run a length of wired armoured 3 core 2.5 mm2 cable to an external waterproof plug adjacent to your car.
If not possible, you could have problems

Re: Battery kill switch
Correct going with negative kill switch option. Wasn't sure it would work as most solutions talk about kill on the positive but Lez has shown me it can work and a far easier option to install.

Re: Battery kill switch
I'll pass on cable and ring sizes as I have a hydraulic ring crimping kit and used what was appropriate (was a few years ago that I did the job), and as said previously a good quality spare -ve jump cable
The reason I used the -ve cable from battery is :all the Bentley workshop guides talk about disconnecting the Negative battery lead when doing electric work and a battery disconnect.
