Tank Ventilation Valve

Post by jason1872 » Tue Mar 13, 2018 4:09 pm

Hello guys i've just replaced the ccv in my 02 3.0i i now have error 68 Tank Ventilation Valve error with the EML on i've replaced the valve but still get the error,i have found a plastic pipe under the manifold next to the valve that doesn't seem to attach to anything this pipe has a bend in it and points inwards towards the manifold,on checking the plug that goes onto the valve the plug has only 1 female pin and the valve has 2 males pins, any help would be much appreciated.

My understanding of the vent valve is there are two pipes one in from the tank one out to throttle body and ecu cycles the valve. Mine has a 2 pin plug 2 male pins on the valve and 2 female on the lead/plug
