I replaced the bottom arms complete with factory original ones, but the thrust arms I replaced the big bushes in with powerflex ones from pheonixmotorsport.

Juddering when braking at 60-70mph??
Used the age old method of drilling out the rubber bush and then carefully hacksawing two slits in the metal outer sleeve, this relieves the tightness and you can just knock it out.

Just changed my RTAB on the E46, similar process, but after drilling out the rubber part (chain drilled using 8mm bit) and as the metal outer is really quite thin, it was easier to bend the bush outer inward using a suitable hammer and large screwdriver/chisel.
replaced mine with FEBI ones. they are very high quality and made to oe standards or by the same firm as oe. we use them a lot and never have any problems.
see what you can find. usually available on ebay but go either genuine/ powerflex of febi. no cheap ones its just not worth it.
hope you get it sorted and get back to enjoying the x
dave
Eurocar parts list either Lemforder Suspension Arm @ £103...or no brand mentioned Suspension Arm @ £70.80
Are the "no brand name ones likely to be Febi?
Also (on EBAY) you can get Meyle arms with HD bushes for £73.
There's some chatter I read about HD Meyle bushes being stronger than OE but not as solid as poly. Not seen the bushes on their ownfor sale but as above can be had complete...I think
Opinions?

if they were febi i think they would say so as they are well known in the trade as good quality and we chose them over many others

Where then can you source Febi parts from if I may ask?
Any opinions on the Meyle HDs?
