xenon bulbs

Post by pcdee » Fri Mar 09, 2018 3:13 pm

One of my headlights has gone orange, looks like it's time to change both.

I do believe they're D1S bulbs?

Anyone recommend and particular makes please.

Osram or Philips.  Chinese knock-off versions tend to have focus issues with the arc not being in the right place.  There were also a spate of fakes in correct looking boxes on fleabay too.

Osram Xenarc family have a good write-up in the motoring press and in tests.  Philips very close behind (sometimes in front).

D1S sounds right, but check Realoem (lists as D1 series).

BMW will charge you an absolute fortune for them, beware!

These have been sat in my drawer unopened until now, bought them for the E93 when one went, but the ABS pump went same week so got my indie to do the bulb at the same time. He didn't get the message that I had left the bulb in the boot, so charged me £70 for a bulb

Can't confirm these are genuine OEM , as they were cheaper than I expected, but your welcome to them, just arrange postage via Hermes and email me a label and I will send them
As I've got shot of our Beemers they are no use to meImage
[/quote]Many thanks.

Could you pm me your details so I can arrange everything.
