Hi,
Anyone had any experience with the 7 series?
Seriously tempted by them as they seem to be very good value for money in comparison to the 5 series (F10).

Re: BMW 7 Series F01
I had a 1998 7 series v8 originally owned by Ian Botham.
Although a lovely car it was too big and the steering was not rack and pinion as was the 5 series and too vague with no feel.(the wife said the seats were too big and she used to wallow around in them, I felt the same)
Also had a 1998 5 series v8 at the same time, like chalk and cheese, give me the 5 series every time.
The 7 series is a car to sit in the back of and let someone else do the work.

one of my mates has this model - with full bells and whistles
he also bought it like you say - as he got a lot of car for the money... bought after a few years.
if you want luxury in the form of creature comforts this probably tops the list for the money.
