For anyone looking to integrate iPod/iPhone control in an E46/39/53/81 while retaining the oem set up this without doubt the best option available. The Intravee connects to the existing CD changer port and gives an Alpine Ai-Net port for connecting the Alpine KCA 420i iPod adapter too. You can also get a switch to add additional Alpine Ai-Net units such as DAB. The beauty of this is that it displays track info on the stereo better than some OEM units I’ve seen, which is impressive given the stereos are circa 15 years old. It also retains full control via steering wheel etc.
Included is the Intravee, Alpine unit, a CableJive DockStubz charge converter (needed to charge the iPhone as well as play) and a 5m 30pin Apple cable to get the connection up to the front of the car.
It’s still installed in my car at the minute, so I can get some photos of it in-situ this evening.
I'm after £200 for all the above, no offers. I also have a genuine Apple 30pin to Lightning adapter cable and a brodit iphone cradle for it too, both for an extra £30 if required.

Intravee and Alpine KCA420i Ipod adapter
Re: Intravee and Alpine KCA420i Ipod adapter
All removed now. I forgot that you can also code using the Intravee, for example angel eyes can be turned on as DRL’s and indicators made to flash 3 times on 1 push.
