X5 E70 Body Face lift ? UPGRADES ?

Hi all ,

Ive just bought a 2007 E70 3.0D SE and looking to give it a face lift.

I was wondering if its possible to buy more sporty or newer body kit to fit to my car ?

Ive looked at Msport kits or newer parts , but not sure if they will fit like for like or require some work ?

Been thinking the same......
Maybe at the very least colour coded trim!
Also check out, the "Aero kits"  kits on ebay.
Isn't going to work out cheap though

Hi all ,

I'm looking at potential upgrades to my X5 se .

I've been looking at upgrading the lights to LCI ? To adding an Msport or Aero body kit?

I'm just not sure what the differences are and if it's worth doing ??

All down to personal preference , easiest fix is new wheels and tyres this always gives a car a refresh along with grill change , M Sport extended arch kit moves you up to 20" wheels and tyres as they stick out of the arches if fitted to an SE X5 which is an mot fail .
  Some Se versions have been factory fitted with the arch extensions although they are usually not body coloured like the M Sport , you can buy kits from BMW although lots of kits on eBay which are cheaper but a lot more work to fit , other options could be a local breaker .

Apologies if It seems like a silly question , but is there a side by side comparison of an SE and msport together as many bodykits on eBay just shoe extensions ? And not full bumpers ?

Also mine does have non coloured arch trims but I didn't realise that they were the arch extensions ?

Hi the main difference is no side steps , front and rear bumpers are also body coloured .

So does that mean if I colour the front and rear bumper and the arch extensions , it's an msport from the outside? Also given all that am I correct in thinking that you can buy bumper extensions??
