It’s probably buried in the missile lock option when pvr passes you in a cloud of smoke... :P  Of course he will produce so much CO2 nothing will burn anyway!

Seriously though, you might have a look at bmwcoders and see if any of the coding gurus on there have found it?

So, I’m about to order some LED cornering lights. As they’ll do the same random flashing as the indicators, I’ll have to code them in. I can see position light cold & warm monitoring, so assume that position lights are the cornering lights. Anyone know for sure?

I did some more coding last night despite saying I wouldn’t!  :P

Disabled mirror tilt on reverse
Boot opening reduced to 1 sec
Door handle lights on when in reverse
Rear lights on with DRLs

All looking good  :)

Why disable mirror tilt on reverse? That’s a handy feature.

I thought that the mirror dip went off when you moved the mirror selector to the passenger side? I find it really handy and miss it on my wifes 2 series

So the mirror dip deactivation was an experiment. I’ve been having issues with my passenger mirror not folding all the time and think it’s related to having the mirror switch in the dip off mode. I’ve now deactivated the dip and put the switch back to the dip mode. So far, the mirrors seem to have folded 100% of the time.  I don’t like the dip function to be honest, so it suits me.

It’s all a bit of an odd one but mirror fold is much more useful than mirror dip to me so I’m happy. I’ll give it a few months like this, then revert to standard and see how it goes. If there’s still an issue, i’ll Take it in to get looked at, but with the comfort delay switched back to the standard delay.

Does anyone know how to code the mirrors to fold with a quick press of the lock button on the remote, rather than holding it down, as the sunshade closes when you hold the button down?

Yup, I did it yesterday as it annoyed me. I did it with BimmerCode and OBD2 WiFi adapter. All I had to do was to set the Comfort Mirror Close Delay to zero.

I also coded the Stop/Start to be off by default. Very happy.

What I would love to be able to do is to set Auto Hold to On by default but not sure that one is possible.

I'm trying to turn the MACRO_TRAILER_COUPLING to active and wondered if the BimmerCode device could to this?  All I want to do is switch on the Trailer-hitch zoom feature on for the rear camera.  I've tried looking for the latest version of Tokenmasters Esys Launcher V2.8 that doesn't require purchasing a token but can't find it.  Before I spend on Carly or Bimmercode I wanted to see if they could talk to the ECU that controls this feature.  Alternatively is there someone in the Newark (Notts) area that could help.

Apologies if you might have seen a similar post from me before tonight but when I pressed POST I got a database error so don't know if it did post - I can't find it anyway.

thanks for reading  :)

The Bimmercode does have the option of the camera zoom within (on the F15) and I’ve activated it on my car.

I’d like rev counter and turn signals in HUD, neither of which can be done sadly  :(

Done it.  Got the Tow Hitch Zoom feature working.  It is so easy with the Bimmercode App after all.  Bit the bullet and paid £23 for the ODB II adaptor off Amazon and £25 to un-lock the coding in the App.  So £48 in total.  Seems a lot to pay but my local franchised dealer refused to do it because they didn't fit the tow bar and wouldn't accept liability, even though it was a Westfalia as fitted by BMW! My local independent BMW service guy said they could do it but would need the car for a "few hours" and would charge me £60 + VAT.  Result then and what's better is that I can now look at the other configurable options to play with and even do my neighbours cars for a small consideration  :) :)

Not sure about anyone else but trying to get the dongle on and off the port was a lesson in how to remove skin very quickly off your finger!

I've invested £5on ebay for a 1m extension cable and that makes life very simple!

However i had a look around this afternoon and to be honest without going into 'expert' mode there's really bugger all you can code on bimmercode using their standard app features.

You can add rear lights to DLR's and turn off engine stop/start but I'm not really suer what else is worthwhile?

If you have found any good useable (rather than for the sake of it) codes I'd be interested in hearing about them. The turn signal in HUD has recently disappeared so I can't have that  :(
