Looking to buy a used x5 50d

Post by poolie » Wed Feb 07, 2018 8:43 pm

Hi all,

I'll be in the market soon to buy a 5.0d. Timescale backend of June. I'm looking for a bit of advice...I want to spend no more than 40k. Will have 20k of my own money deposit but i was wondering what would be best as in borrowing 20k and buying cash? Or putting less deposit down and doing something like PCP?

Would like 65 16 plate sport with panoramic roof in black.

Thanks

Hello Mate,

I’ve just spend a long time looking at your topic . You will find a car in your budget . I don’t recommend PCP on a used car like that maybe just personal loan or HP on your remainder, I found the bigger the spec the higher the demand and this pushed the price right up. I’m sure in June you will get a very nice car low miles @ 40k ish spec depending.

Good luck
Regards

I have also gone through this process, and be careful to look for the options that you want. PCP is not really an option in Belgium, so it is a cash purchase in any case here, but prices wary little independent of options. I would look for a mileage that is in line with its age, as better to have a motorway cruiser than one that has spent its life in city driving. Options are a personal choice, but I specifically wanted adaptive LED, surround view, B&O and the leather dash - panoramic sunroof and dynamic drive would be well worth seeking out too, IMHO.

Thanks guy maybe putting a deposit down next week :)

Couple of questions it's an m sport

Do these come with the neon light around the dash as standard?

It has comfort seats is this a good option? What does it intail?

Heated front and rear seats think steering is heated as well

Panoramic roof.

Is their any were I can check what extras it has? As the sales guy didn't have a clue.

Thanks.

If you get the VIN you can log into here: www.bimmerwork:VINdecoder. and enter the last 7 numbers as requested and can find the full original order spec.

Ok, try putting only "bimmerwork" in the header and you will be presented with a range of VIN decoders.

Happy days. Pics are easy on this site. There’s an “attachment” option on posts that seems to accept all pics I’ve tried to add (unlinked another site that I won’t mention!  :) )
