BMW 20” X6 Style 214 Alloys and Nearly New Tyres

Post by Lyons » Tue Dec 05, 2017 4:32 pm

For sale is a set of genuine BMW 20” Style 214 Alloys and Tyres from an X6. These were professionally refurbished a couple of months ago and are literally perfect. The wheels have never been welded, no cracks or buckles etc. They will fit an X6 and also an E53 X5 (00-06 shape). The tyres are just a few weeks old and cost nearly £800, they all have 7mm remaining. 2 are Kumho and 2 are Pirelli.

£800 for the full set. Postage would be circa £60 to Mainland UK.

I can email photos of individual wheels and treads to anyone interested.

They’re still here Colin, probably not a good time to be selling them but I’m in no panic!

Hi!
why are they not suitable to a X5 E70 and only for the e53?

Centre bores are different.  The E70 has larger axle shafts than the X6 as those have a clever torque distribution rear axle (also fitted to the X5M/X6M).  E53 bores just need spigot rings on one axle set (can’t remember which).  To fit to an E70 you need the centres machined out.

Yup, correct. Just on the front wheels though strangely!

An engineering company would be able to machine the centre bore for any E70 owners.
