Music Streaming- Who Likes What Best?

As per title.  I’ve tried out the following wireless options so far:

Spotify and Apple Music via Carplay
Spotify Via the iDrive ConnectedDrive App
Deezer via Online Entertainment

I quite the functionality of all of them so far, but I have to say I think I like the Deezer option the best at the moment. I’ve been with Spotify for a while now and like the way it works and integrates nicely with my home Sonos system, but pretty sure Deezer would do so nicely too. I just can’t decide if I want to pay the extra cash (ok only £40 a year) to make the switch to Deezer over Spotify.

I know there have been posts on this before, but I feel that things have really stepped up recently with these options, especially as each can be achieved wirelessly.  Anyone got any thoughts or preferences?

Mine is straight from my iTunes and server library stored on the phone.  Amazon Prime music available but TBH I prefer what’s in my own (extensive and very varied) library rather than anything else.  If all else fails then DAB station choices are available.  I don’t use streaming enough to justify paying for it.

Deezer using the online entertainment for me. works really well and you can use voice search too(if your car has that option).

I use the Napster app on the car as I have Napster on my phone and at home on the Sonos. I thought about changing over to Spotify but decided I couldnt be bothered to redo all my playlists.

Spotify for me as well. Now the roaming charges have been dropped in Europe, I can finally listen to music "on the go" there as well whilst previously being restricted to off-line music.

After a day of using Spotify via Carplay today, I’m still feeling Deezer via Online Entertainment is winning it for me. I’ll switch off carplay tomorrow and give the bmw version of Spotify another whirl. 

I have to say I’m regretting spending the money on Carplay now.  I wonder if I can invoke a 14 day money back guarantee on it!?!

Yeah I think I’m going to go for Deezer once my trial is up, I think it’s a really solid integration and I love that the songs download to avoid any lack of data.
