Loose sensor

Post by Murphybarnes » Sun Feb 04, 2018 5:03 pm

Found this flapping about when washing the rear right wheel. Connects to the black sensor thingy but I cannot find where the loose end connects to or if there is something missing.ImageImageImageImage

Thanks. Do I have to take the caliper/pads apart to reconnect it?

No look at the metal edge of the pad (backplate)and there will be a recess/groove for that piece to push into. probably wasn't pushed in properly in the first place.

Ok thanks for that. Was fading light and hauling these 315's off continually is not doing my back any favours.

If you haven't already done it you should be able to get the pad sensor back in the pad using a little grease without removing the wheel
