Headlight Vertical aim control failure

Post by sharpharp » Mon Jan 29, 2018 9:27 pm

Been getting this on and off for months, lately the frequency has increased, so can anyone for the love of god post a pic of where the **** it is located on our F25 X3?

I had a look over the weekend and made sure all the headlight wires are not loose, but I have read on other forums that the arm tend to be on the inside behind the wheel.

a) which side would it be on in the UK?
b) anyone else had this error and able to post pics of the exact location and if you managed to fix it yourself?

I've read it could just be water ingress, but unless I can see the damn thing, I can't do much.

Thanks,

Hi

I did a search and found the part on a website and also appears to be common issue but i could find where located but from the 1st link it looks like attached to an arm or chassis and would appears to be close to the light unit

Also on realoem I couldn't find the adjuster for the lights but looking at 1sr link it appears to be part of the rear axle set up below

Thanks Graeme,

I had a look and still can't find it, I've since checked all headlight connections are snug, but still puzzled where the arm control is exactly
