Front wiper problem

Hi there, my front wipers don't work on the first setting(that has the adjustable speed) the constant settings work as does the pull down single wipe. When I flick it to the first setting it will wipe once but not again. Any help would be great. Cheers Bryan

If you have auto wipers then it’s likely the sensor has failed.  It is at the top on the mirror mount seen from outside.  The little ‘window’ should be completely clear and you should be able to see the sensor through it.  The sensor should be in contact with the glass.

If it is fogged or opaque then the auto wipe stops working.  The sensor just clips in so you can get replacements but the window must be completely clear.

Fixed this, a new stick on sensor from eBay for £29.99 did the trick. Cheers Bryan
