Mine is smoke white and looks great with the piano black trim.
Also have the individual leather dash and door cards in smoke white and scotch which adds to the luxury interior finish.
As you say it is a bit of a pain to keep clean (no jeans) but IMO worth the tender love and care.
Contrast between CB and white appeals to me.

Yep, your’s looks stunning, I love the leather dash too and would have loved that option on mine.  Unfortunately, I couldn’t stump up the extra for it.  I still love the premium feel to the interior without it though.  It’s a great environment to sit in.

Yep, mines the same, but ivory white nappa comfort seats with black accents, piano black, and the leather dash. It’s a stunning interior.

We have a 2015 F15 3.0D M Sport in Carbon Black with Smoke White Comfort seats. Bought the car last June and always wanted the contrast of dark outside with light inside.
Had the BMW treatment inside and out as part of the deal and absolutely no regrets. Have cleaned the seats only once with the supplied cream, it was a doddle. Her indoors does wear jeans at times and that was the reason that I did the cleaning, but they came up perfect without a lot of work.
As we are the only ones in the car 90% of the time, no animals  ) we made the decision to go with the Smoke White. Had Comfort Seats before and can drive 200+ miles and arrive as fresh as we started  .
Car also has Winter Pack, which is a nice luxury touch in the recent cold weather  .
Needless to say we are very pleased with our X5, puts a smile on our faces every time we drive it  ).

Mine are comfort seats as well
When I had the X3 courtesy car last week, these had the sports seats and to be honest a little too snug around the thighs and back.
With the comfort seats they also support the body well but not quite as snug.

I can quite honestly say that I’ve been blown away by this thing over the past few days, I love it. The beautiful looks with the carbon and then black grills adding to the look.  The comfortable, quiet, environment to sit in and the HK Audio are all superb.  Then the effortless pulling power that could indeed have you in trouble with the police without really trying too hard!

In terms of the ride.  The RFTs are a bit crashy over those severe solid rubber speed bumps, otherwise, I’m ok with them so far, as I think the suspension covers up a lot of their failings really well. This car rolls a bit more than the SQ5, but it was lower, smaller and lighter and I wasn’t really expecting them to behave in the same way. I’ve given the car some beans on the straights, but yet to see how it performs quickly on the winding roads.

All in all! I’m very chuffed with my it.

I was sat next to Velar whilst crawling to work in traffic yesterday and had considered one before opting for the X5. Other than it having a slightly flashier arrangement for heating controls etc, there’s nothing it has that makes me think I should have bought one. The X5 F15 really is quite a machine, especially given its due to be replaced at the end of the year.

What were your expectations on the mpg before you got it?
This was the one thing that I was slightly concerned with, as I do 14k miles a year.
But surprisingly I'm more than surprise with the mpg - on my 21" summer RFT tyres I'm averaging 32mpg, however on my 20" winters I'm getting upto 35mpg on a standard 25 mile commute on A roads.

Stick it into Sport+ and sport auto and enjoy! >:D

I’m expecting around 30mpg as an average which i’ll Be fine with.  I got around that in the SQ5,but more on longer trips.  None of my journeys in the X5 yet have been exactly ‘typical’ as I’ve either been testing it out, doing fairly short trips or stuck in traffic so far. I’ll need to fill up in a day or so and will get into a bit of a routine so will be able to get an idea shortly.

Your stats sound pretty good though so that’s encouraging.

I drive mine as it should be driven and over 20,000 miles have averaged 26mpg.

On longer runs mid-thirties is achievable however not on short runs.

Wow that low! Have you found it gets worse as the engine loosens up over time?
Or are you just enjoying the power and fun >:D

He is a middle aged hooligan. I have been in his car, and he drives it without an accelerator, just on/off switch with that and the brakes  )

Glad you are happy with it. I've had mine a few months now. My previous was a 30d f15 and I honestly did not think it lacked power. The only issue with the M50d is I am continually having to slow down when on the open road / motorway.
This is my third x5 with runflats and these wheels are the biggest I've had, yet I have no complaints about the ride. Its all relative I suppose.
