I’m getting a Carbon Black M50d with the front and rear carbon splitter and diffusers and also black grilles and rear lip spoiler. I’ve not opted for the Matt black M Performance side skirts, though have been umm’ing and ahh’ing about them for a while now. What’s people’s thoughts on these? I think they look great against white, but do they look lost against a black car? I also wonder if the mix of carbon, gloss black, then the Matt black is too many variations?
Thoughts appreciated. Cheers.

You’ve come this far, why not! )

Hi
Assuming this is a build to order then it will be cheaper to add to the build rather than as an extra afterwards.
I personally go for it.
Look forward to the pics in due course.

Hi Guys,
Same set up and IMO looks good on the Carbon Black.
Pictures below so I would go for it to complete the look

Those pics of yours X5M50d might have just sold it for me! Dang that looks good. I might need to shake the piggy bank again after all! I should have known that asking for advice on this place would involve spending more cash! Mind you, what goes around comes around.
As these are all dealer fit items, I don’t think there’s any difference in price between now and later.
Thanks folks.

I say yes! but mine have started to peel off Do you know if this would be covered under warranty?
Unfortunately, my dealer was in Edinburgh and the car delivered to London.

If they were installed by your dealership within the last three years, then definitely yes.
If it is a OEM BMW product you should be able to go to any dealership.

You should be fine to go into any bmw dealership to get that sorted if it’s a genuine part like X5M50d suggests above.
