Broken E53 3.0i Rear Diff

Post by macbaileyjr » Wed Jan 17, 2018 1:35 pm

Hi guys, as the subject says i boke mmy diff.
started out with a noise in the rear so i parked up n looked underneath and my diff was wet my drivers side seal on the diff died, brought it to the dealer, no seals, had to order in from the us.
so my seals came and were installed n now i get a call n my diff needs to be replaced, they gave me a part number 33107510656 which is a 4.10 diff and i googled it but those i'm finding has a sticker on it that says 7510656/E2445n:4.10, now my question is will this work or is it the wrong diff.
when i do a real oem search for 33107510655 it says invalid part could it be a bmw mistake on the sticker?

any help would be great very limited resources where i am

33107510656 shows on Realoem as a remanufactured final drive for an E53 3.0i.  655 looks like a typo?

The part number is correct as BMW use either 7 or 11 digit codes and the last 7 matches the last 7 of the 11-digit format.  Ignore anything after the /.

Listed as $1600USD so probably a 1:1 conversion plus VAT  :o
