Update -
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear All, a quick update to say that despite my best efforts I can't get hold of a back up and it looks like the site has gone - again. I can't quite believe it but I've been massively let down by a company called North Hosts who simply stopped provided a service last week with absolutely no warning. After some thought, I'm going to start again but this time with a bulletproof, watertight, nuclear winter proof site with built-in contingency to ensure that no-one can let me down like this again. I can't give an accurate timeframe of when this will happen but I'll start working on it asap. As ever, thanks for your patience and apologies again for the disastrous events over the past week.

Thanks for the update and all your efforts to get the site going again. Good news that you are going to start a new site :ok:

Last time I was on this site was the demise of BMWLand, now I’m here trying to find out what has happened to BMWLander.  Let’s hope Ian can sort it out with a bit of help from the members. It’s a huge task for one person.
Such a shame, but at least this time I think most will have their photos stored elsewhere, just the text that is lost.

Really missing my cyber friends of which a few are here.

Happy Christmas and new year.

Merry Christmas Ian. A real shame BMWLander went away, I do hope it can be revived.
Good news is that X Drivers forum is growing with more X3 and X1 owners, which makes it an equally interesting and involving place for me to be. In the past it was more X5 centric, so that has been a welcome  expansion.

Festive greetings Gents!

Nice XGT Ian, looks unusual, you’ve not done the badge thing.... have you?

Good news on the Forum revival.....
I’m sure it was a feat first time round, can only imagine the difficulties second time! Almost like a kick in the stones! To make matters worse I’m sure Ian is on overseas assignment.......

Received a tweet from @bmwlander. He managed to get a backup from the hosting company from a year ago. At least that gives him a starting point, and not have to create from zero.

Are you using the web address above?  It’s certainly accessible on that url.
