About 1500 on the online providers, so yes, bugger all.

Personally I suspect the Porsche is a better car.

However the attitude of dealers and lack of discount to compete rules them out for me. I refuse to part with my hard-earned currently to that car manufacturer.

The trouble with the Porsche is it’s on the shared platform with the Touareg, which is crap, and the Q7, which is slightly less crap!

How did you manage to arrange a loan of an X5m for a few hours? I practically had to sign away my first born for an accompanied 30 minutes. The salesman did say he had never been as fast in his life though so maybe they had a point

I have had a 735, 740, X5, Z4M and bought my son’s 140 there as well so they know me and that I am not doing it as a joyride. They normally drop the car off at my house as well so they know where I live.

They also know that I will look at the Cayenne so they need to do the PR on this one.

They also know you drive like an old fart and are unlikely to get out of first gear :))

Don't think we got out of first gear when we drove to that karting event in your 535  :))

I would like to know this also as I could be in the market for one  :)

Also you mentioned 20k discount, is that mates rates for you as a loyal customer or something anyone can just ask for? I see pre-regged at £75-80k but is that discount from new?

Either he didn’t like it, or crashed it!  :))

I had to postpone it as the X5M was not taxed so could not have it for the day. It is being Re- scheduled.

The discount is from new using broadspeed pricing, they simply match that and those provide the 20-22k discount.

Try going on Car Wow website who will provide you with the best deal in your area. Once you have this you can then start trading one stealer off with another to get the best price. I did this when I got my M50d and managed 18% discount. Happy X5M hunting
