Car sold 2 weeks ago (tax due end of this month).
It is now showing as taxed till next year so the new owner has it sorted.
Would i be ok to cancel my standing order for it now or will they do that i would like to do it save waiting for any payment they might take on the 1st December.
Anybody done this any come backs doing it ??.

Re: Vehicle Road tax standing order
I thought the new rules came into force a while back? Once you sell your car you are no longer responsible for the Tax plus you can't transfer the tax to the new owner?
Personally I would've cancel the standing order/direct order anyway.

Cancel it now. Not your problem as soon as it is sold.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
