Runflats

Post by Abbot26 » Wed Nov 08, 2017 8:27 pm

So, I picked up a rather large bolt in a rear tyre on the way to work this morning, I know some on here slate run flats but they did the job admirably today, got me to work, back home and off to a tyre fitters with very little fuss.

I had mine fixed after a large bolt did the same and it ran on until worn out 4 years later.

Have just binned my summer set as when I swopped over to winters last week, found a front and a rear had each picked up a nail.......even though there was still a fair amount of tread left.  I confess to not being much of a gambler with tyres, as they are all I have between me and the road....

They might be fine and maybe its a waste, but I won’t take the risk.
