Revive the old thread since I just recently posted a similar question.
Martin, and anyone, who switched to the Sport 3, how have you experience been so far? would you still recommend these?
When you put a pair of non-run flat in, can a local garage do just fine, or anything in particular that need bmw? (Call them last week, and they say they can do it, but can not guarantee as these are not bmw recommended)
For people who changed to normal type, any second thought of going back to run-flats?

See the other thread about non BMW recommended and the risk to Transmissions.
The ride is better on non-RFT as the sidewalls are softer. Some prefer but I have stuck with RFT myself as I don’t find the ride excessively harsh (I also don’t have air suspension as the X6 didn’t have it by default - Sports System fitted instead).

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

No mean to spam, but want to also thank you for this
This X5 is my first car ever and without much driving experience I doubt that I can tell the difference between RFT and normal.
