I'm pretty sure it is the same kit, it just looks better in a dark colour. Yes, it is pricey and then when you get it sprayed to a standard that matches your BMW paint/finish you'll be over 2k. Unless it is exceptional quality these things normally need a fair amount of work by the body shop in prep for spraying. Paint crack lines appear at the merest of touches. Nice, but 2k nice, I don't know.
