Hi guys, just wondered if anyone has had an issue with steering wheel wobble when braking from speed?.
Tracking is fine.
Track control arms were done around 2 years ago using genuine Lemforder and Meyle for the fronts, had them checked on a bobble ramp and they still look ok.
Front discs and pads were done 3 years ago, checked the run out yesterday and have around 0.02 and 0.04 so not excessive.
Any other thoughts?

Re: Steering bobble when braking at speed.
I had a similar issue shortly after i got my 40D.
I initially though it was warped discs. But after some heavy sharp braking it seemed to clear and hasnt re-appeared since...
Maybee it was some pad transfer that need cleaning off...or the pads were a bit glazed...

[/quote]Thats exactly what I am going to try, I have now spoken to a guy I used at EBC brakes back when I had a Westfield sprint car and he also said check for pad transfer.
You can see a very light black outline of the pads on the disc but I thought it was just a mark where the pad had sat while the car was laid up for a couple of weeks.
