Re: Reverse Camera Retrofit problem
Either the camera is shutting down, or it looks as if it is losing video sync so the picture goes to black?
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

The camera only active for few seconds before losing picture... while it's active it does have lines...
Is I don't use to bad ground?

Re: Reverse Camera Retrofit problem
Hi
From the clip it appears to me the horizontal lines conincide with the car beeping pulses and causing the interference. This is like the interference years ago when an unsurppressd motorbike or car went passed and would cause your telly to have lines on it
I think its worth checking the wiring connections to make sure they are secure and not caught/ kinked anywhere. Again it may be worth checking the instructions as to whether the live power feeds for picture and sound need to be separate ? and also whether it mentions about a suppresssor or resistor needs to be fitted.

Re: Reverse Camera Retrofit problem
Managed to solved the problem.... I use the trigger switch on PDC and most importantly the ignition 12V + I tap to the rear wiper pin13 instead of the reverse light.
However I am facing another new issue... the display on my monitor shows the picture are flipped...
