Advice on X5 F15's - 3.0 D M Sport
Hi All, as said in subject, can anyone who has or knows the F15's give me any good advice please. As you can see on my profile, i owned a X5 E70 for a few years and loved every moment in it. When in for service and M O T i got an X1 Loaner and must admit i was impressed and mentioned it and before i new it i was offered a really good deal on a demo so i bought it. Again another great car and really cheap to run but always missed my X5. I now have been offered i think another good deal on a F15 with loads of extras. The car is about 28 months old and done over average mileage. going to view 2mo. Also whats that ive seen on here in past where you can put the reg into a BMW site and it brings up its build sheet or something ?? Thanks in advance

I had an E70 and am now on my second f15. In my view, the F15 styling is not as pretty as some of its competitors, but I still like it enough to have bought two!
Compared to the E70, the F15 is a better car. Faster, better equipped and more comfortable. I first went from an e70 35d to a F15 30d and the 30d was faster than the E70 despite having one turbo less. I went for an M50d this time - because I could but the extra power wasn't really necessary.
The steering is lighter in the F15, but you quickly get used to this and it makes slow speed manoeuvers easy.
I'm not aware of any really major issues with the F15 and had no problems with mine, though admittedly mine was low mileage. I even went 3 years with one set of tyres, which had not been the case on the E70.

Agreed. I am looking for a version I can use in my Škoda Superb as I miss the one that I have in the X6.
