Ref wipers washers
Hi guys got a issue with my wipers every no and then the wipers and washers start by there self any ideas and it's not raining
Re: Ref wipers washers
Do you have auto wipers?
If so, perhaps sensor issue. Either way, a lose connection or poor contact anywhere from power supply to stalk to wipe motor could cause erratic behaviour that doesn't match command.
How's your stalk feeling? Sometime (not related to experience with this modal) they get full of crap and or wear down so contacts are loose and bump about, making momentary contact and setting wipers off.
Am aware of some issues with auto sensors, lots of vids about revealing them to windscreen on YouTube etc. So perhaps worth a look to if you have auto.
When you say washers go on as well, do you mean screen squirt, or headlight squirt? If headlight, does it only do this random wash and wipe when lights are on?
