I have a 2005 e83. The navigation is a bit dated. Is there a cd update I can buy? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction.

Yes you are right it is a dvd disc and case i have. 2002 tho, rather annoyingly you can not put the whole postcode in, so unless you know the name of the road too, it wont find it. Was hoping a newer disc would solve this, but the only ones i can find are for cars 2007 and newer....

If you have a Mk4 system you will probably need a firmware upgrade too in order to support the postcode and later discs that use dual layer DVDs.
It may be that BMW have discontinued support for these systems - though it must be recent - so the copy discs also stop.
