Back to BMW - E70 3.0sd MY2008

Post by mac1986 » Tue Aug 15, 2017 9:21 am

hi guys, been lurking on here for some time doing my research, it is a great resource! the last BMWs i owned were an e39 (2002) 525 m sport, truly a superb car and before that an e36 323i coupe which had been mapped and was a joy to drive. i have since been flip flopped between a couple of mercedes. decided to buy the x5 because my family has expanded and we regularly take trips up north (based down south myself) and need the extra boot/cabin space...plus i was offered a pretty sweet deal!

just wanted to say hello and say i look forward to learning from you guys!

Thanks Graeme. The car is Carbon Black with Saddle Brown leather interior, I love the combination. The main extra I was after was the panoramic roof, personally it is a must (even though i am aware it is troublesome). I owned a w211 e class with the roof and since that car i can't go back.

The twin turbo engine has been remapped, when i get the hang of uploading pictures i will post up the print out in the performance section.
