maf cleaning

Post by Ryoken » Thu Aug 03, 2017 11:40 pm

hi guys,
my car is coming up to 157k  smiles,  ive got a slight hesitation at 1.5 to 2k revs,  ive changed the plugs and coil tubes, after my drivers side bank gasket was leaking , so ive bought all new ,
just a couple of questions
how long does a maf last?
how often can you clean them?
ive got no error codes on scanner,
averaging 15 to 18 mpg,

cheers

steve

probably not the maf,if you decide to replace it don't use a cheap after market one I tried 2 and they both gave problems,it may be your throttle body needs cleaning/replacing
