Typical evil bay, have had several items with non payers of late, it's becoming a playground for time wasters.
If you have to relist it, maybe don't put a "buy it now", that way people might contact you first to ask questions etc. at least that way you can weed out the time wasters by the questions they ask.
And of course, always make it clear that people who bid with less than a certain feedback score will be cancelled unless contact is made prior to bidding.
Besides, with what you were asking for it I'd have thought you could get a lot more breaking, but of course you would have to do a bit of extra work as well.
Good luck.

Thanks for the tips, I'm an eBay noob, so good to know, I will change my listing about a bit now I think.
The buyer turned out to be "suspicious" so eBay cancelled the sale and have re listed the car, hopefully I don't have the same situation twice.
If it doesn't sell within the 10 days, I may we'll end up breaking it, I'd better find my tools....

Seems like a great price. Given that the wheels and interior would be worth near half the price of the listing, I'm sure there's over £1k in parts in the rest of it.
