Likely to be a lot harder than the 20" though if you have the Sport Suspension delete that will help.  These very low profile tyres have little 'give' in the sidewall to absorb cr8p British roads.....but they do look the business  :)

Have always liked those wheels in Ferric Grey.

I've just driven my friend's E70 with 20" run flats back to back with my own which is on 21" run flats.  Both cars on M Sport suspension.  The difference in ride is marginal, almost imperceptible, 21s are a touch more crashy.

Yes these are on a 2009 30d xdrive msport mate would you recommend runflats or ordinary?

I haven't driven the 21s on non runflats I'm afraid.  The ride will be almost certainly better I would've thought although the runflats have come on a long way in that respect since their introduction.

Hi

I had 22" on 295/35 series Yokohama tyres which were non runflats and no worse than the 20" Bridgestone on my old E53.

I would say the 20" Bridgestone runflats on my current E70 are actually feel harder but that could be either the tyres or the M suspension, than the old 22" non runflats.

Not sure on whether the 21" would be 35 series tyres but if 30 series then they would be a lot harder, maybe getting a test drive on a BMW X5 f15 with them on may help you decide

I have them on my 40d MSport,  car is white, alloys black. They look stunning (I am biased....) and the drive is quite tight and not too harsh, in fact better than my 4.8is on its 20s.    Only drawback is tyre price!  My OH is notoriously sensitive to hard, vouncy drives and usually prefers winter wheels but the 215's are just fine. Meant to add, they are on runflats , star rated.
