Hi There
That looks like the back up battery for a tracker. Do you have a tracker fitted and subscribed to ? I am 99.9% sure thats what that is from the picture. The battery is there to give the tracker unit power if the car is stolen and the main car battery is disconnected.

No tracker that i'm aware of ,well at least not that the bloke in the caravan site I bought it off told me about....
