Hi all
can someone assist on the fault code i have attached on photo. Not sure if this means the glow pin is faulty or not, i did take it out a while ago and out 12v to it , it lit up red so i presumed it was fine but im no expert.
Is there anything else that may be causing the problem such as this pcb that seems to cause trouble maybe not supplying the voltage it needs. Also, should the heater actually fire up as if it were working as normal if turned on in the INPA programme where it says turn on heater.
Thanks

Re: Fault code help on Webasto
That appears to say that the system is missing the flame detector sensor input. That would shut the system down as it can't detect ignition has occurred.

Hi
Thanks. im trying to find out what part it is that is causing the fault, would it be a glow pin ? or some other part, the pin glows red with 12v applied when out of the burner.

Not the glow pin as you say that is working.
There must be some kind of sensor that picks up the ignition temperature change and isn't so the system shuts off. No idea where that sensor is though. See if you can find a Webasto Thermo Top C or Z manual on line as that may point you in the right direction. There are also a number of threads on here that may also show the way to your issue.

seems the most common thing is this pcb , seems to wreak havoc with them, something about some white glue type stuff that soemthing under it burns out.
