Anyone know this 4.8?

Just wondering if this car is known to anyone on here.
I've done a quick MOT history check and it will only show me the latest one, ( not go back 5 years ).

Don't know it but if it stays around that price I'll buy it. Looks and sounds good for age. If interested ask the owner some questions, anything your not happy with.

I've already asked loads of questions, and it won't go for anywhere near that price, he's already hinted to me what he wants for it' ( and I don't think it matters about no reserve being set, wink wink ).
One of the worries for me was the fact that the air suspension has been by-passed, not swapped out for springs and shocks like some on here, but by-passed via the valves to the air bags.
Basically it just sits where it is on the air bags and doesn't move, is this normal on the 4.8's
Forgive my ignorance, but I've never really looked at the 4.8 before, normally a 4.6 fan.

So, what exactly are "age related dents" as this has 4 of them.

Do they appear, automatically, after year 4, 6 and 8 or is there some other mystical way that a dent can be age related.

Every factory optional extra but no mention of heated wheel, rear electric seats or FBH.

Re missing Mot history, perhaps a recent import.

The dents are not your normal car park dings, trust me, they are bigger than that, and in awkward places to have taken out easily.
It does have heated rear seats, and he has all the old mot certs, but still odd that it doesn't show up on the gov website for the past 5 years.

Could it have been on a personal registration plate ?
Ref the air suspension, sounds like a bodge job.

Normally it doesn't matter about reg plate, it should still bring up previous 5 years mot results.
As for the air suspension "mod", I tend to agree.
How can you have suspension that doesn't move according to road conditions and weight in the car, ie air bags with the valve by-passed.

Denis O I had to laugh at your age related dents comment, you are absolutely right of course, there's plenty of older cars out there without dents. I've looked at the pics and don't really see anything really bad you must know/see or been told. The air suspension is obviously not how it's supposed to be. That repair could be a money pit or a fuse.
