BMW X5 E53 Angel Eye lights, still in packaging unused

I bought these angel eye light fittings for my E53 I had at the time, but sold it before I had chance to fit them.
Still in box with fitting instructions so as new.

Hi there,
look like ccfl lights to me and I think you would only be able to fit to splittable headlights (pre 08 , 2002).
I did the mod , that is how i know.
Have remodded and fitted led angel eyes.

Thanks Lez, E53 shape is pre 2008 as mentioned. Hopefully of use to someone.

This may seem like a stupid question,i have a 56 plate E53 and heard about these angel eye light thingies but what advantage do they have over the normal stock headlights or do mine have them all ready ?? if they are brighter or what ever they do i could well be interested.

Are they easy to fit or a major job fitting them ??

They will not fit a 56 plate, or any other facelift X5, you can buy LED front marker light bulbs to yours to give the white look, but do t expect them to be  as bright as the later LCI (2010) BMW's.
