H&R springs msport

Post by russ25 » Sat May 20, 2017 6:10 pm

Any comments or advice thinking of putting a set of H&R lowering spring on the front and lowering rear air suspension.
Any issues.

I agree & think the E70 needs a little drop, certainly not slammed,
Though I'm a stickler for OEM, so I'd probably add further expense and replace wheels for X5m's

As far as I know (which isn't far) the favoured kit is the H&R, dependent on car spec means replacing the front and fitting lowering links, or coding the ride height @ the rear
Two kits available 1.2" & 2.0" drops,
Though for European models, the success of the drop may depend on having the bad road package fitted, this in effect is thicker spring pads, these are interchangeable.

Not sure how the drop would look on style 333's ?? Perhaps time for photoshopping

Thanks for the advice. Not going to slam it just loose a bit space from the arches as even 20" look lost.
Never really thort about lowering it until spring snapped and seen photos of them lowered and now getting used to the look.
