Help would be great,x5 e53 was running great until last night on the way home when the dsc/abs 4x4 inactive lit up on the dashboard like a christmas tree,any help would be appreciated in trying to diagnose this fault,the codes received from a diagnostic are.
Fault Codes
5F10              not present
DSC: DSC sensor, supply
5E34              not present
DSC: Wheel-speed sensor, air gap, rear left

i'd be looking at the abs sensor first fairly easy to change tbh (if it doesnt break while your pulling it out )

it could also be the battery as they throw up all sorts of errors on these cars? Disconnect it for 30 mins and then reconnect. Full charge overnight ideally with a  CTEk (or similar) battery conditioner

Of course it may not be the battery but it is quick and easy to eliminate

How old is your battery - if it is over six years old then replace regardless as it will cause you issues

Doesn't the r/l wheel sensor also cover the speedo and if that is working then the sensor is probably ok and it is the normally at fault ABS module?? worth keeping in mind if a sensor replacement doesn't solve the problem.
